LC-MS/MS

Chromatography

Area of Application

The high performance liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry enables the detection of polar and also high-molecular trace compounds in aqueous samples. Highly selective and sensitive measurement can be carried out in the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode, which includes the measurement of at least two mass transitions for each analyte. The limits of detection (LOD) are in the lower ng/L range.

This technique can be used for a variety of compounds such as antibiotics, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, desinfection byproducts, endocrine disruptors as well as for their transformation products and metabolites.
