Deposition of Inorganic and Organic Substances on Different Roof Surfaces.
(REGEN I)
Roofs in urban areas play an important role for the fixation or mobilization of organic and inorganic pollutants in rain water. The mobilization of heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) from different roof material is investigated in collaboration with the team of Prof. Doris Stüben (Institut für Petrographie und Geochemie) and the team of Prof. Manfred Meurer (Institut für Geographie und Geoökologie) both at the University of Karlsruhe.
